Anniversary of acorns by Primitive and Wood (P&W)
designer Ruzanna Gladkova
Printed Cross stitch pattern
Size 87 x 172 stitches
The design was developed by me in the style of traditional Quaker embroidery based on the designs of Ackworth School, but in the author's interpretation. Traditionally, Quaker-style designs are done in subtle colors, because as a religious community, Quakers strived for modesty in everything, including the art of embroidery. It got to the point that especially bright and beautiful embroidery was destroyed. To make your embroidery visually close to the traditional one, on the basis of which this design was drawn, I suggest that you use soft colors in the palette of an autumn forest when embroidering.
