Triple frame "Stone window" by Primitive & Wood (P&W)
Designer embroidery accessories
The frame consists of three parts.
When decorating the embroidery, the inner window will remain a neat frame that will not distract attention from the embroidery with a close-running seam.
There are traditional holes for a hanging loop.
The total size of the product is 26x21 cm or 10.2"x8.3", the window for embroidery is 12x16 cm or 4.7"x6.3"
Brief sequence of actions for embroidery design:
1. Sew embroidery to the inner window of the middle part.
2. Make a loop for hanging in the back piece.
3. Place padding polyester under the embroidery (there should not be padding padding between the wooden parts of the frame, this will complicate stitching).
4. Place three parts together: the backdrop on the bottom, then the middle part with sewn embroidery (between the backdrop and the middle piece there is padding the size of the inner window), on top there is a piece with engraving of pebbles.
5. Make temporary fastenings with thread in several places of the frame, sewing three parts together. This is necessary so that during stitching they do not move relative to each other. Make the fastenings so that the knot is on the outside so that it can be easily cut off during the stitching process.
6. Take a thin, sharp needle and a long thread, hide a knot or loop between the layers and begin stitching the three parts together. You can stitch the needle either with a forward stitch or with a backward stitch. I prefer stitching back with a needle.
7. If you need to replace the thread during the process, either tie it to the tip of the current thread, or hide the knots between the layers. The nodule should be small.
8. Fasten the thread at the end of the work and admire the design!
