A reconstruction of a rare 1666 Dutch sampler depicting the biblical parable of the ten virgins.

The design booklet file gives the parable and attempts to interpret the depiction of the parable directly in the sampler. Some of the other Christian symbols in this work (there are many!) are also described. Photos of the original sampler and other samplers featuring this biblical story are included.

The size of the design is 267 x 282 stitches
