This cross stitch kit contains all you need to embroider the garden poppy derived from our spectacular Tinctorial Plants project in the Museums and Heritage Collection.

The petals from this flower, the Papaver Orientale, gives colours ranging from pink to violet. You can discover the history of this plant whose seeds have been found in Neolithic dwellings dating back over 5000 years.

Size of motif: 76 points wide by 200 points high

When embroidered on 12 count/centimeter linen fabric the finished dimensions are 12.7 x 33.3cm
