What actually is latitude? It’s the complete freedom to act, think and stitch in the way you want. It’s the liberty to make your own decisions and to select the colours and threads of your dreams. It’s the say-so to tweak, adjust and add/subtract. Latitude is the carte blanche chart!

Latitude is also a geographic coordinate which is used to measure the distance, north or south, from the Earth’s equator. Down in the Arctic Circle of this chart is where the first ever retirement home for elderly chick-a-birdies has been sited. These loyal little creatures have spent their entire working lives playing an active part in Long Dog’s many samplers, and now they simply want somewhere to chill, read books, form a choir and play bingo. There’s even a couple of burnt out old mice amongst the residents.

This sheltered complex is an entirely new genre of motif and was architect designed to incorporate all mod cons with a central garden area so that the tenants can take short flights of fancy if they wish

All the rooms are already fully occupied even though the woodpecker builders are still putting the finishing touches to the exterior. It’s affectionately known as The Maze.
