I am so pleased to introducing Louise Chappuis 1844, a French Reproduction Sampler. Since I have no other information on Louise other than her name and date it wasn't possible to find out more about her. I did find one Louise Chappuis on Ancestry, born in 1832. That would be about right for her to be stitching an intricate sampler like this when she was 12 years old. But there is no way to know for sure.
Stitch Count: 285 x 330
Model floss: HDF silk. A DMC conversion is also provided.
