King Arthur by Nimuë

About Arthur…
Although having taken again the principles of the embroidery of Guinevere, it is indeed a new embroidery with quite different difficulties.
Arthur’s more warlike position, his accessories: plastron, arm of force, spallière, sword, are all metal pieces whose effect must be rendered without it being too present.
That’s why all these elements are made with silver and gold lamé yarns mixed with DMC cottons. The effect is subtle, does not take all the space at the expense of drapes to stay in refinement and elegance.
